Nails, nails, nails

Since I haven't been running much lately I haven't written a whole lot on the blog either, I honestly don't know what to say since most of you are running junkies and don't stop by for my opinions on Demi and Ashton or Kim Kardashian (for the record, I couldn't care less about any of them). I have my second surgery coming up next week and I know that this means at least another month without running, it's driving me crazy. So, I have come up with a new hobby thanks to Pinterest (if you haven't checked it out yet, do it. If you need an invite, let me know.). I've become a bit of a nail whore. It works perfectly for me because I spend a lot of time on the computer chatting with my hubby (in case you're new here, he's deployed) so it gives my nails plenty of time to dry. I use Pinterest to give me ideas and that is also where I found this awesome blog that tells you how to do some really awesome manis. Here are some pictures of manis that I have done since I started this obsession. Enjoy.

How cool!!!!! Seriously cool!!!! Very awesome!!!!! I'm jealous! I can't even just pain my right hand without screwing it up (I'm sooo NOT left handed).

Nice job finding a new talent and hobby!!!! Hang in there with the lack of running. Imagine how FUN it will be once you get back. You can set your sights on your new "comeback goals" :)

Hoping your recovery is going well and will be quicker than expected!

Hi! I just found your blog from Barbie Runs' page... I'm also a nails fool, currently rocking O.P.I.'s Ali's big break... LOL
I'd actually like to take you up on the Pinterest invite offer! I've been waiting for their invite for so long! So if you have any invite left I'm interested! :)
I'm also in Europe (France) where the only acceptable runners are quite the opposite of what I look like... So it'll be interesting to read about your experiences in Deutschland!
Bis Dann!

I'm worried about you - it's okay not to run, but I hope you are healing up well and being safe and doing well in Germany. I miss your blogging, your humor, your sharing of your German life. Hugs!
