Willkommen in Deutschland!

Guten tag! Just wanted to drop in and let everyone know that we arrived in Germany on Monday and we are getting settled in. We have a house already but we won't be getting our things until March 28th. I'll try to stop by the library periodically to blog but unfortunately, I can't post any pictures yet.
I haven't gone on a run yet but I'm planning one either tonight or tomorrow sometime. I have been doing a lot of walking however since our house is about a mile or so away from base. I'm definitely going to need to stay on top of my running because I have yet to taste anything bad here. The pastries, OMG, they're delicious...and doners, don't get me started, even their milk tastes better.

Anyway, be expecting a post with pictures at the end of March...lots and lots of pictures! :)

I hope everyone is doing well with their training, comment and let me know what's going on with you since I can't sit down right now and read everyone's blogs (my internet use is about 30 minutes). Talk to you guys again soon.

Yay to hear from you!!!! It sounds like you're settling in a little. . . .more than 2 months without your "stuff" would surely test my nerves! Glad you're being able to find some delicious things to eat (mouth watering). And. . . you said you knew no German - good to see you picking up a few words. Miss hearing from you!! Good luck settling in!!!! Enjoy your run!

Over here in my world, I just finished my longest run (11 miles!!!) before my first half marathon in less than 2 weeks. EEK!!

I can't wait for you to have a race in Germany. I want to hear how they compare to races here in America!

Enjoy Germany! Can't wait to hear all the details about it. Doing the same old same old here in AZ. Running and trying to survive the 80 degree weather :)
